Hello again, a minor update to work as a preliminary for the next larger one.
It does feel a little weird calling it a small update however, as this one increases the map sizes up to 15x!

This dev log will describe the update in short details. There is also a very in-depth write-up on the optimizations done, which can be found here.
But in short, this is possible due to several optimizations. Mostly to map generation, but also some that affect runtime performance. This means you don't have to play at abnormally large map sizes to benefit from this. The huge map sizes have not undergone much testing, and their performance may be suboptimal. They may be disregarded as the game continues, but so far I don't see a reason not to let the possibility of using them stay open.
Do note that while 4000x4000 may theoretically be possible, and is therefore included for now, I have not been able to start a game of that size regardless of memory capacity. Any size below that, including 3000x3000, is confirmed to work, as is proven by the above screenshot.
